The TrailBlazers Troop 505 is a youth led girl troop, guided by the Scoutmaster/Assistant Scoutmasters and supported by the Troop Committee. The Scouts use their Scout Handbook throughout their journey to learn to live by the Scout Oath and the Scout Law.
The Troop Meeting is held on Tuesday nights from 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.

Some highlights regarding Scouts BSA / Troop 505:
The program is for youth 10 years of age and up to 18. There are specific guidelines on age/eligibility.
A year-round program with weekly Troop meetings, except over holiday weeks.
The Scouts decide and plan their activities for meetings, activities, camping, etc.
A Scout will progress through the program at their own pace.
Scouts wear a BSA Field Uniform (aka Class A), scout shorts/pants and scout belt for specific troop meetings and activities.
Scouts wear a Troop Activity T-Shirt (aka Class B) for specific troop meetings and activities. The Troop will have affordable t-shirt options for families.
The Troop utilizes TroopTrack for tracking of Scout participation and achievements.
The Troop also uses TroopTrack for the calendar function as well as communications to members.
Scouts can take a break for sports, band or other activities, and then return to Scouting and continue their journey.
The Scouting year runs from August 1 through July 31 of the next year.
